The City is on Steam (Early Access). Steam installs it and keeps it up to date: there is nothing to unzip. Where to get it.
The old test build that used to be downloaded from this website is no longer updated. If you still have it, your saved city stays on your PC.
Press F8 in the game. It pauses, takes a picture of your city and gives you a box to write in. Good ideas are added to the Coming soon list, where everyone can vote on them.
The City needs a graphics card that supports Vulkan. Try these in order:

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 8 GB of memory, and a graphics card that supports Vulkan with 2 GB of video memory, such as an NVIDIA GTX 1050 or AMD RX 560. These are estimates while the game is in Early Access.
Steam downloads new versions by itself. The game's menu has What's new, and guides and help (press F1) update without a new version.
Press Esc to open the menu, then Settings. Turning shadows down or off helps the most. Very large cities with many cars are the most demanding.
Not yet. This is an early test build and cities are not saved between sessions. Saving is planned.
People can only arrive once a road reaches the edge of the map. After that, homes need electricity and water (they travel along the roads), jobs within reach, and a happy city. The City Planner panel tells you what most needs fixing.

Press F8 in the game. It pauses, takes a screenshot and lets you type a note, then sends it to us. That is the best way to report a bug because we get the screenshot and the game's numbers with it.
